About Watermark PDF
A document labeled CONFIDENTIAL serves a different purpose from a product brochure carrying a company logo. One needs an unmistakable status indicator; the other might call for subtle branding that doesn't compete with the page's content. Watermark PDF gives you control over both approaches, allowing you to create prominent text stamps, understated image overlays, or repeated patterns that extend across an entire page.
Rather than limiting you to a single preset stamp, the editor supports multiple independent watermarks. Combine a diagonal DRAFT label with a small corner logo, adjust their transparency separately, or position a copyright notice using precise page coordinates. Text formatting includes several font families, size adjustments, bold and italic styles, and custom colors. Uploaded PNG and JPG images retain their proportions when resized. For repeated background-style markings, tiled patterns provide adjustable spacing and rotation. The live PDF preview lets you inspect placement before exporting, including the difference between marks placed above or beneath existing page content.
Page selection and batch processing make the tool particularly useful for recurring document workflows. You might mark every page of a report, apply an approval label only to its cover, or add consistent branding to several client documents in one operation. Each watermark can target all pages or a custom selection, giving you flexibility when a document contains sections that should remain unmarked. Named configurations can be saved in browser storage, so a frequently used combination of text, imagery, and appearance settings doesn't have to be rebuilt for every new file.
The finished watermark becomes part of the exported PDF's page content, while the original uploaded document remains unchanged. Watermarks are intended for branding, attribution, review status, and visual identification—not as substitutes for encryption or certified digital signatures. All processing occurs on your device, and multiple completed PDFs can be collected in a single ZIP download.
