How to use Crop & Resize PDF Pages

  1. 1

Click Choose PDF files or drag and drop one or more documents into the upload area. Select a page from the thumbnail sidebar to begin editing. If you've opened multiple PDFs, use Active PDF to switch between documents.

  2. 2

Open the Crop tab and choose which pages to modify under Apply to. Options include Current page, Selected pages, All pages, Odd pages, Even pages, and Custom page range. For manual cropping, drag the crop rectangle or adjust its handles directly on the preview.

  3. 3

Refine your crop using Crop margins to enter exact top, right, bottom, and left measurements. Choose an Aspect ratio such as Free, Original, 1:1, A4, or Letter. You can also click Auto crop white margins to detect content boundaries automatically. Expand Auto-crop settings to adjust the white-background tolerance if necessary.

  4. 4

To change page dimensions, switch to Resize, select the pages under Apply to, and enable Enable resize. Choose a Target page size from A0–A6, Letter, Legal, Tabloid, Custom, or Resize by percentage. For custom dimensions, specify the width, height, and measurement unit.

  5. 5

Adjust Orientation and Content behavior to determine how the existing content fits the new page. Choose Fit, Fill, Keep original size, or Scale proportionally. Use Content alignment and Page padding for precise placement. Inspect the preview, and use Undo, Redo, Reset Crop, Reset Resize, or Reset All if adjustments are needed.

  6. 6

Click Download PDF to export the result. A single document downloads as a PDF, while multiple documents are delivered together in a ZIP archive. The tool applies cropping before resizing and preserves pages you haven't modified.

About Crop & Resize PDF Pages

Oversized borders, inconsistent paper dimensions, and awkwardly positioned content can make an otherwise finished PDF difficult to print or present. A scanned document may occupy only the center of a large page, while a collection of drawings or reports might mix several paper formats. Crop & Resize PDF Pages addresses these layout problems by letting you control both the visible content area and the physical dimensions of each PDF page.

Cropping is designed for precision as well as convenience. An adjustable rectangle lets you isolate the portion of a page that matters, while numeric margin controls provide exact measurements in millimeters, centimeters, inches, or points. You can maintain a particular aspect ratio, apply proportional cropping across different page sizes, or detect surrounding white space automatically. The detection tolerance can be adjusted for documents with slightly discolored backgrounds.

Resizing serves a different purpose: preparing the document for a particular page format or output requirement. Available sizes range from A0 to A6 and include Letter, Legal, Tabloid, and custom dimensions. Content can be fitted inside the new boundaries, enlarged to fill them, kept at its existing size, or scaled by a specified percentage. Nine alignment positions and adjustable page padding help control the finished layout, whether you're preparing standard office paperwork or positioning material for printing.

The editor also supports selective changes. Crop odd-numbered pages, resize a particular section, or correct individual sheets while leaving the rest untouched. Thumbnail navigation, visual previews, zoom controls, and editing history make it easier to verify the results before exporting. Multiple PDFs can be handled in the same workspace and downloaded as a ZIP containing separate output documents.

Cropping and resizing preserve the original PDF's vector-based content wherever supported, without rebuilding pages as screenshots. The operations take place directly in your browser, with no server upload required. Remember that cropping is a layout adjustment, not a secure method of deleting information from a document.
