About Trim & Split Audio
Audio cutting has two distinct jobs, and this workspace gives each one an appropriate model. Trim defines the single passage that should survive; Split defines the boundaries between several parts. Both work against a waveform calculated from the real decoded signal, not an ornamental visualization.
Precision is available at several levels. Handles are convenient for broad adjustments, editable time fields support exact values, zoom reveals more horizontal detail and range playback verifies what will be kept. For repetitive work, interval presets and custom seconds can populate markers automatically; equal-parts generation is useful when the number of outputs matters more than particular timestamps.
Every segment is previewable before export and reported independently afterward. The source is prepared once for a job, avoiding a separate setup for every part, and multiple results can be downloaded together. Accurate boundaries may require encoding even when Same as source is selected, but the processing and packaging stay entirely local.
