How to use Adjust & Normalize Audio Volume
- 1
Upload one supported audio file and let Audio analysis measure sample peak, estimated true peak and integrated loudness locally.
- 2
For manual control, open Adjust Volume and choose 0%–400%. Keep Prevent clipping on to limit unsafe amplification, or turn it off to apply the exact gain with a warning.
- 3
For Normalize, choose Loudness and a preset or custom LUFS target plus True Peak limit, or choose Peak and set a dBFS target.
- 4
Compare Original and Adjusted at the same position, choose the output format and bitrate, then click Adjust Volume or Normalize Audio and download the result.

About Adjust & Normalize Audio Volume
Volume problems do not all call for the same remedy. Sometimes a recording simply needs an exact gain change; elsewhere, several programs need comparable perceived loudness, or the highest sample must meet a delivery specification. Adjust & Normalize Audio Volume keeps these three intentions separate rather than hiding them behind one automatic button.
Manual percentages map directly to linear amplitude from silence at 0% through 400% gain. Optional clipping protection consults the analyzed source peak and intervenes only when amplification is unsafe. Loudness normalization uses integrated LUFS targets with a configurable true-peak ceiling, while Peak normalization sets the highest sample through one uniform gain change. None of these modes applies dynamic-range compression.
The waveform analysis and Original/Adjusted comparison happen before export, with playback position preserved between versions. If a requested loudness conflicts with the peak ceiling, the limitation is reported rather than concealed. The supported output formats and bitrate controls use local processing from analysis through download.
