About Audio Converter

An audio format is often chosen by the next destination rather than the recording itself: MP3 for universal sharing, AAC for an MP4-oriented workflow, Opus for efficient speech, or WAV and FLAC when lossy compression is unsuitable. Audio Converter groups these choices in one batch workspace while keeping their relevant controls visible.

Lossy codecs expose named quality presets and exact bitrates, whereas WAV and FLAC explain their 16-bit output behavior instead of showing irrelevant bitrate controls. Auto settings avoid unnecessary rate or channel changes; manual sample-rate and mono/stereo choices are available when a platform or production specification calls for them.

Each uploaded file retains an independent source preview, status and result, although one output configuration applies to the batch. A bad item does not erase successful work. Browser capabilities are used where practical and the local compatibility engine is loaded when required, with no server upload involved.
