JPG, PNG and WebP supported

Drop one or several page images. Camera availability depends on your device and browser.

How to use Scan to PDF

  1. 1

Click Use Camera to capture a document with a supported device, or select Upload Images to import JPG, PNG, or WebP photos. You can also drag and drop images into the upload area.

  2. 2

Build your document by selecting Add with Camera or Add Images whenever you need more pages. Select a thumbnail to edit its contents, drag thumbnails to change their order, or use the left and right arrow buttons for precise rearrangement. Remove unwanted images with the delete button.

  3. 3

Correct individual scans using the rotation buttons or click Crop to adjust the visible area. Under Aspect ratio, choose Free, Original, a standard photo ratio, or an A4/Letter preset. Drag the crop boundaries and click Apply crop. Use Reset crop if you want to start the adjustment again.

  4. 4

Improve readability under Scan appearance by choosing Original, Grayscale, Black & White, or Enhance. Each image can have its own appearance setting.

  5. 5

Configure PDF Settings before exporting. Under Page layout, choose One image per page, Auto arrange, or Grid. Grid mode lets you place 2, 3, 4, 6, or 8 images on each PDF page and provides a PDF page preview. Set Page size, Orientation, Margins, and Output quality to match your document.

  6. 6

Click Create PDF and allow the pages to process. When the result appears, select Download PDF to save scanned-document.pdf, or click Scan another document to begin again.

About Scan to PDF

Paperwork rarely arrives in a format that's convenient to store or share. A handwritten authorization, several expense receipts, or pages from a notebook might all need to become a digital document. Scan to PDF provides a camera-based and image-based scanning workspace that turns these individual captures into an organized, downloadable PDF without requiring a dedicated scanner.

Unlike a basic photo-to-PDF converter, the workspace provides individual editing controls for every imported image. Trim away surrounding desks, backgrounds, or unnecessary borders with the adjustable crop editor. Apply a fixed aspect ratio when consistent page proportions matter, or rotate photographs that were captured sideways. Four appearance modes offer different treatments: Original retains the photograph's colors, Grayscale removes color, Black & White produces a high-contrast monochrome result, and Enhance adjusts image contrast to improve visibility.

Document layout is equally flexible. Traditional one-image-per-page output works well for contracts, forms, and full-page scans. Auto arrange is useful for fitting smaller images together vertically, while Grid provides controlled multi-image layouts for receipts, contact sheets, and collections of reference photographs. Grid arrangements can be previewed before export, with the choice of 2, 3, 4, 6, or 8 images per PDF page. A4, Letter, and automatic page sizing are available alongside orientation, margin, and image-quality settings.

The resulting PDF preserves the visual appearance of the processed photographs, but it does not recognize printed text or create editable document content. For the clearest output, capture images in good lighting and check the crop and appearance settings before conversion.

All image editing and PDF generation take place locally in your browser. Photographs are not uploaded to a processing server, and the original image files remain unchanged. The finished document can be downloaded directly to your device.
