About Split PDF
A lengthy PDF doesn't always need to stay together. Perhaps you only want the signature pages from an agreement, a few relevant illustrations from a technical manual, or separate files for the individual chapters of a course. Split PDF makes it possible to isolate exactly what matters without rebuilding the document or exporting pages as images.
Four splitting methods accommodate different workflows. Extract selected pages is suited to collecting specific information into one new document, even when the pages are scattered throughout the original. Custom page groups gives you control over where separate documents begin and end, while Split every N pages automatically divides longer PDFs into consecutive batches. When every page needs to stand alone, Split every page produces a separate file for each one.
The resulting PDFs retain the selected pages' existing visual content without intentional image compression or resolution reduction. Each file receives a name based on your chosen base name and page selection, making the results easier to identify. You can download individual documents or gather multiple outputs into a ZIP archive.
All processing happens within your browser, so the source PDF is not sent to a processing server. Your original document remains unchanged. Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked before splitting, and exceptionally large documents may require substantial device memory.
