About Find & Replace Text
Find & Replace Text is designed for changes that are tedious to make by hand but still require control. It can update a repeated product name, remove a recurring marker, correct capitalization-sensitive terms, or apply a structured pattern across a long plain-text document.
The live match count and previous/next controls let you inspect occurrences before editing them. Literal search safely treats punctuation as text, while regular-expression mode supports flexible patterns and capture-based replacements. Whole-word matching uses Unicode-aware boundaries, making it useful for prose as well as identifiers containing letters and numbers.
Changes remain in the editable passage until you copy or download the result. The tool accepts one UTF-8 TXT file, creates a new edited download, and performs search and replacement entirely within the browser.
