About Extract Images from Office Files
An Office file often contains the original photograph, logo or illustration as a separate package resource. Extracting that resource is more faithful than cropping a screenshot because it can preserve the embedded file's native pixels, transparency and encoding.
The extractor reads the standard media folders in DOCX, XLSX and PPTX packages and returns one result for each genuine stored part. Raster images, vectors and Windows metafiles keep their original bytes. When the browser cannot safely display a format, the gallery shows a clear placeholder rather than converting it merely to produce a thumbnail.
Mixed batches remain manageable through source and format filters, persistent selection and individual or ZIP downloads. Failures are isolated to the affected source file. Charts, shapes, rendered pages and externally linked images are outside the extraction path, and no active content is run or fetched.
