About Spreadsheet Converter
A spreadsheet conversion is not just a change of extension. Workbook formats can carry several worksheets, formulas, merges, number formats and styles, while CSV, TSV, JSON and HTML describe tabular data in very different ways. This converter exposes the choices that determine how that information crosses the boundary.
Every source has an independent output and settings state. Output for All applies a common destination only where it is valid, leaving incompatible or already-matching files clearly skipped instead of blocking the batch. Content-aware warnings call out detected worksheet, formula, merge, macro or formatting consequences without alarming users about features that are not present.
Text inputs can be reparsed with a corrected encoding or delimiter, and exports offer practical controls such as UTF-8 BOM, JSON shape and formula-injection protection. Completed files replace their Convert action with Download, while the original sources remain untouched throughout local browser processing.
