Which output formats can Image Converter create?

It can create JPEG, PNG, BMP and TIFF files. WebP and AVIF appear only when your browser provides a working encoder for that format.

What happens to transparency when I convert to JPEG or BMP?

Those outputs cannot retain alpha transparency, so transparent pixels are filled with the background color you select before conversion.

Will an animated GIF stay animated?

No. Image Converter treats GIF input as a still image and converts its first decoded frame. Use a dedicated GIF tool when animation must be preserved.

Can different images use different output formats?

Yes. Each file has its own Output setting. Output for All is optional and updates only formats that are available for the current browser and file.
