About Encrypt & Decrypt Text
Text encryption is useful for material that must travel through an untrusted channel: recovery notes, configuration fragments or personal information. Instead of merely encoding characters, this tool creates an authenticated encrypted envelope. Tampering, truncation and an incorrect password are detected during decryption rather than producing plausible but corrupted text.
Encryption and key derivation run through browser cryptography, and the password is not included in the downloaded TXT file. The envelope is safe to copy as text, but its confidentiality still depends on a strong password delivered through a separate trusted route.
