Generated Canonical Code

0 valid mappings

<!-- Enter a valid Page URL to generate canonical output. -->
Place this tag in the <head> of the corresponding webpage.

Validation

Enter a URL to check the canonical configuration.

Canonical declarations are preferences, not guarantees. This tool does not fetch URLs, test redirects or status codes, inspect published tags, or verify Google’s selected canonical.

How to use Canonical URL Generator

  1. 1

Choose Single URL or Bulk URLs, and add a Website URL if you plan to enter relative paths.

  2. 2

For one page, enter its URL and either use it as the canonical or specify a preferred destination.

  3. 3

For bulk work, paste page URLs, add mappings manually or import Page and optional Canonical columns from CSV.

  4. 4

Use Advanced URL Settings only when you intentionally want cleanup for generated self-canonicals.

  5. 5

Select HTML Tag or HTTP Header output, review Validation, then copy or download the declarations.

Frequently asked questions

About Canonical URL Generator

Canonical decisions concern identity: which URL should search systems treat as the preferred representative of a page? The single mode makes that choice explicit and shows whether the result points to itself or elsewhere. Bulk mode extends the same reviewable mapping to pasted lists and CSV imports rather than assuming every row needs identical cleanup.

Normalization controls are intentionally limited to generated self-canonicals and include fragments, known tracking parameters, optional query removal, HTTPS, www and trailing-slash preferences. Since some of those changes can alter meaning, the interface validates syntax but never claims the destination exists or that a search engine will honor the signal.
